Absolutely loved our visit! I ordered the liver and onions with potato pancake—delicious, and the beer was a perfect match. My lovely wife had the chicken schnitzel and it was awesome. Our server was so kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. The Ukrainian live music was incredible—you don’t need to understand the language because the music truly speaks to you. The whole place has amazing vibes and we left feeling so happy. Highly recommend for a wonderful night out!

This was our first time visiting Barrel House Korchma — and definitely not the last! The restaurant is located a bit out of the way, but we finally found the time to visit, and it was absolutely worth it. I ordered kvass, borscht with garlic pampushky, cherry varenyky, and pork shashlik with potatoes on the side. My boyfriend had deruny and the Ukrainian sausage with mashed potatoes. Everything was incredibly delicious — truly the taste of Ukraine! The atmosphere is very authentic and cozy. Everything is made of wood, which my boyfriend (a carpenter) especially appreciated. Our server was super friendly and attentive, always checking if we needed anything or extra utensils to share the dishes. The food was just wow! I don’t even have the words to describe how good it was. A lovely bonus was the map of Ukraine where you can mark the city you’re from or have lived in. Prices are very reasonable and the quality is top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Ukrainian food and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back again!

We were looking for good Ukrainian food and found AMAZING Ukrainian food. I have never eaten sauerkraut with a spoon before coming here - everything we had was so good (even the sour cherry verenyky was good even if we didn’t fall in love with it). The cabbage rolls with mushroom gravy were perfection. The pickle plate is a must. The borsch was so good it made me question why I hated it as a kid (sorry Baba I didn’t like yours but here it was amazing!) and the potatoes pancakes were life affirming. We will definitely be coming back here.

While working on a project nearby, I have stopped twice for lunch at Korchma. The restaurant is not busy around lunch time and service is quick. Before even mentioning the food you will be blown away by the unique design of the place. So much to see. The food is great, head the pleasure to try the borscht soup and Salo. This made for a great light lunch if you are not very hungry. The 2nd visit I tried the 4 combo special that was great as well. Haven't tried any of the deserts yet but I will sure be back again to try more great and delicious foods.

everything here is booooooomb. the food and drinks are fantastic, service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. mom told me the carpets on the walls are exactly the same she had in crimea. we looooved the khatchapurri, cabbage rolls, liver cake, perogies, and chicken kyiv. parking is across the street and patio is dog friendly. 10/10 will come back. we’re a russian family from crimea and we love our ukrainian brothers and sisters, and we were treated here with respect. food reminds us of home! love the kompot.

This place is great! Great food with great vives. The decor and aesthetic of the restaurant is really unique. And, of course, the food is really tasty and decently good value. This was one of my first times trying Ukrainian cuisine and I am happy I came here. I will be coming back in the future for sure. All the food in the picture fed two very hungry people (3 appetizers, 1 soup, 1 main), but this was a lot of food for sure and very filling!

My boyfriend and I came here while we were visiting town for a concert. We don’t have restaurants with this type of cuisine where we live so we decided to check it out. We loved the food and drinks, tried a few new things. It was really fun listening to the Ukrainian music and watching the music videos while we waited for our food. There is so much beautiful decor too. Very authentic. Great place.
